nunca es lo que parece

nos engañan los sentidos

son las ideas preconcebidas las que nos convierten en intolerantes

y el juego se convierte en imposible

our senses mislead us
preconceptions are what make us bigots

                              ··· la pena

                              salieron en busca de oportunidades

                              heridos por soles implacables 

                              cruzaron océanos de arenas ardientes 

                              la tierra prometida había desaparecido 

                              vagaban ahora en el mar de la desdicha 

                              no sabían que la tierra prometida se había desvanecido 
                              ya no era tierra… ni para sus habitantes 

                              imperturbables, ellos continuaban navegando hacia la quimera 

                              aunque les esperasen nuevas arenas ardientes 

                              calcinadoras de esperanzas 

                              ... the sorrow                          

                              they came out in search of opportunities                     

                              injured by ruthless suns                                  

                              they crossed oceans of burning sands                         

                              the promised land had disappeared

                              they wandered now into the sea of affliction

                              they did not know that the promised land had faded

                              it was not land... even for its inhabitants

                              undisturbed, they continued sailing towards the chimera

                              although new burning sands were waiting for them

                              schorers of hope
