el pulso era fuerte y sostenido
duras y férreas voluntades frente a frente
incólumes
no se habían dado cuenta del sufrimiento
que en otros producían

596 - Bárbara
No recuerdo el lugar exacto donde sus pasos se encontraron con los míos, quizá en
algún lugar de Portugal, quizá ya en Galicia… pero sí recuerdo claramente que
fue la última persona a la que le dije adiós, un adiós casi definitivo ya que
con toda probabilidad sus pasos nunca habrán de encontrarse con los míos.
Un adiós en la Praza del Obradoiro, fin de camino, es un adiós muy especial, es
una despedida que se une a otras muchas… que dejan huella.
Está ahora en otro continente, bajo el sol de California. Yo, pensando en la buena
gente que habré de encontrar en un nuevo camino…. si lo hubiere.

I do not exactly remember where her steps met mine, perhaps somewhere in Portugal, maybe in Galicia... but I clearly
remember that she was the last person I said goodbye, an almost definitive goodbye,
since very likely her steps will never meet mine again.
A farewell in ‘Praza do Obradoiro’, the end of the Camino, it is a very special goodbye, a farewell joined to many others
... that leave their mark.
She is now in another continent, under the Californian sun. Me, thinking about
the good people I will
find in a new way .... if any.
